Cornelder de Moçambique (CdM) is a private join venture, formed through partnership between the Mozambique Public Company Portos e Caminhos de Ferro de Moçambique (CFM – Ports and Railways of Mozambique and the Dutch. CdM has been operating the container and General Cargo Terminals in the port of Beira since October 1998.

The Port of Beira, located strategically in the Centre of the country links directly, by road  or rail, the main markets of the hinterland of Southern Africa namely Zimbabwe, Malawi, Zambia and the Democratic Republic of Congo to the market and the routes of international trade.
